He is Awesome

On Page One Hundred and Nine, Sayadaw leaves the Four Boundless Ones and moves on to the Four Protections.    The first is 'recollecion of the Buddha.'

To do so, he enumerates the nine qualities of the Buddha:

1. He's worthy
2. He did it by himself
3. He's perfect in knowledge and morality
4. He speaks only what is good and true
5. He knows the worlds
6. He is the ultimate tamer of men
7. He is the teacher of devas and humans
8. He is enlightened
9. He possesses the results of previous meritorious actions
