On Page Ninety Four, Sayadaw concludes by repeating that to comprehend impermanence, suffering and non-self, we must understand mentality, materiality, and dependent origination.

Furthermore, there are five methods to understanding dependent origination, of which Sayadaw gives us two:

1. In forward order; ignorance, formations, consciousness, materiality/mentality (name and form), etc.
   
   5. Past causes have produced present effects, and present causes will produce future effects.
