Discernment of materiality is up next (again, kinda) on PAGE EIGHTEEN.  And a big throwdown.  Sayadaw says ". . . although materiality changes billions of times per second, it does not change as quickly as mentality does."  And so "Once you have completed the profound discernment of materiality, the more profound discernment of mentality becomes easier for you to do."    OK so I am at about one change per second, so I only need to go a billion times faster and I'll be ready for mentality.  Something tells me I'll have to slow down to catch up.
